Revo Cafe is a relatively new venue at Palm Jumeirah’s Anantara resort. It is understated, stylish and a well-groomed place. Situated at one end of the building this place would be something which never goes out of style, interiors being earthy and very urban. With chalkboards and posters all around the cafe and a subtle use of wood in the furniture, you are bound to fall in love with it.
This place would be ideal for a casual meal where you can relax and unwind without worrying too much. With a menu everyone will like, start by some juices or their soup of the day. When it comes to food, the clever flavor combinations work in their favour. Avocado and Prawn Salad or a bowl of warm Mushroom soup would be suggested to start with, order it since you can’t go wrong with it.
What surprised me was their Steak, it was special, a big bite of goodness succumbed with good sides of veggies. Corn Fed Chicken looks stunning too especially with the diced mushrooms on it, flavourful but the Chicken in itself could be slightly more moist from within. The winning meal for me was their Linguine Pasta with Prawns, super chilly but I preferred it because of its dense texture to the otherwise plain boring spaghetti.
Don’t leave this place without ordering their signature Red Velvet or Carrot Cake, the creamy, moist and gigantic piece will surely win your heart. Revo Cafe, with this food you have made my belief stronger that not every place has to have a fine dining feel or a Michelin Star attached to make the experience magical.
