A polished French restaurant with a sophisticated decor has recently opened its door to the Dubai’s fine dining scene, situated in Ritz Carlton, rest assured this is one place which wouldn’t fail to impress you. Divided into two parts, I quite liked the idea behind the theme of this restaurant. Either sit by the window and enjoy the lush greenery or relax by their casual dining area.
When it comes to food, the menu is kept simple and limited. I adored the Burrata Cheese which is served with a strong dressing of pesto, drizzle of olive oil and a few cherry tomatoes for the presentation. Chef’s version of Tuna Tartare is a bit different as it has a little tinkering of chilis which gives a sharp flavour to the overall dish.
Lobster Risotto has chunks of fried lobster, and even though the Risotto tasted fine, it could be slightly thicker in consistency. Best was Braised Lamb Ravioli which had a crisp crunch to it because of the croutons; I would suggest this for mains.
Do try their signature Chocolate Cake which in my opinion would be the highlight of your meal here, it is rich, sinful and divine.
Coming to Le Cirque, I felt mesmerised by its classic yet flawless decor, and the rest of the love was from its generous portion of French cum Italian dishes.
