Sufra – Hyatt Regency

Dubai is not short of fine dining restaurants which serves brunches but are they all good enough to come back too ? I don’t know about all but I can vouch for Sufra restaurant in Hyatt Regency. Upon receiving the invitation I wasn’t too sure if I want to go for this brunch since so many times the food is pretty mediocre. But with Sufra I was extremely pleased, excellent service, perfect buffet selection and wonderful food.

This hotel is just 6months old so everything looks so new and modern. Location of this restaurant is so pretty and it has a nice view which is so pleasing to see. Buffet is a mix of a few breakfast selection and lunch dishes.

Started with some subtle drinks which have a very light taste and seems perfect for brunch. They not only have a good selection of dishes but also live cooking station from where warm food is being served directly at your table. A make your own salad counter is an interesting way to cook healthy greens while you mix and match with the sauces of your choice. Apart from this there is a nice selection of Arabic dips which I simply adored and loved.

The buffet section is a bit different from the usual brunches since they are making omelets, egg benidict, shawarmas and hot grills as well. In my opinion the dishes tasted fabulous and the selection of food was also very different. I don’t think you can leave this place without feeling guilty for having so much satisfying food.

If this wasn’t good enough to gain a few kg head to the dessert section where they have pancakes, crepes, cakes and wonderful Ice creams to make your day even beautiful.

This place in my opinion needs to be in top places to try for brunches in Dubai. Absolutely excellent food and service was fabulous as well. Hyatt you have one gem of a restaurant there.
