Afternoon Tea at The Cafe Royal, London

Held in a luxurious gold studded room of The Cafe Royal, is one of the few High Tea experiences in London which makes you forget the worries of the world. Having quite a remarkable place in the heart of London, this place has attracted a lot of famous celebrities, writers and even royalty over the past few years.

Tea is served in their Oscar Wilde Bar, which is submerged in gold decor, Good to look at and too royal to get your eyes off. Food being proudly traditional and much assured, it does make a delicious treat. Start with some Chicken Coronation sandwiches or their irresistible Lobster Rolls which are highly recommended. The meal pairs well with the amuse bouche which is filled with truffle cream cheese and a plastic pipette on the side which consists of a satisfying apple juice, it enhances the flavor of these little muffins.

Next round of the serving mostly consisted of scones and decadent pastries. Scones are served with the classic version of clotted creams and jams. Delicately light Macaroons are a sight to behold, fabulous presentation and a sugar bomb for the taste palate.

So sit back in the comfort of your lovely armchair or gaze around at the beauty of this restaurant, as this place would surely make one of a memorable high tea experience.
