Firstly this brand is completing five years in the UAE and being an Indian myself I pride over this brand which has made its name overseas. Having the opportunity to meet Chefs, and their teams who are strongly knit as a family this group of hotel is one of my first choices when I travel back home or decide to keep a get together in my home, Dubai.
Have been here numerous times, be it for a wedding, a meeting, a foodie hang out or for a comforting spa day and each time I leave this place with a big chirpy smile, feeling content. Since soon enough they will be celebrating their five year anniversary, I would like to give you five reasons to stay at Oberoi.
Delightful culinary options – They have three restaurants here and each one is different from the other. Ananta, their Indian restaurant being my personal favourite as I love to savour on their Dal Makhani and their signature Phal Curry, do not miss this. Their all-day dining restaurant Nine7One has recently launched a Friday brunch which will get back the good old food memories, you had as a child. Lastly, Waka, this Latin American restaurant is perfect to set the party mood and enjoy a drink or two and don’t forget their ladies night which has some groovy music to dance on.
Relaxing Spa and Pool options – I recently tried one of their signature massages and I was very close to falling asleep, I wish the masseuse never stopped. Feeling relaxed and stress-free, you can also enjoy a dip in the pool. They have a wonderful view of the Burj Khalifa which never gets old. For the fitness lovers too, they have a yoga deck, and a gym so you don’t have any excuses to miss the drill.
Heart of the city – This hotel has one of the best locations, few mins away from Downtown Dubai where most of the attractions are located including The Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. You, can’t go wrong with this one, it’s in the centre of Dubai and just a few mins away is a metro station as well.
Luxury at it’s ultimate – From their service to its decor, this hotel has it all. They don’t leave a stone unturned when it comes to pleasing their guests. One such example is the use of Forest Essential products which is India’s leading skincare brand known for its Ayurvedic properties.

Legendary – This brand being established in 1934 has a great sense of honour attached to it. From the people working here to its regular customers, you can see the joy in their eyes. In my opinion, Oberoi is surely one of my favourite places to dine, and stay.
Finally, if you happen to be here during the festive months like Diwali or Christmas you will see how the hotel transforms itself into another glittery glam avatar.
