A rustic yet modern eatery in the midst of Business Bay is Dubai’s newest Italian restaurant called Matto. Homey ambiance, retro decor and a mix of reliable food which you will keep coming back too. Be it for a fun girls night out or just a casual dinner with family and friends, this place has little sections which are fit for all occasions.
The culinary feast begins with some simple, pleasurable dishes like Burrata and Truffles Fries which at the moment is Dubai’s most ridiculously popular ingredients and if you still need to stick to your diet at an Italian restaurant they do have some interesting salads for you as well. A generous portion of Manzo (Beef Tartare) is recommended for intense textures, and the hint of mustard and shallots adds a subtle relishing flavor to every bite.
Truffle Pizza and Ravioli stuffed with mushrooms were something I would come back for, but wish the portion of the Pasta would be slightly on the generous side. Linguine Pasta with Clams was a light dish but yet satisfying, don’t expect for strong flavors if you are ordering this.
The right way to end your meal here is with their hefty portion of Matto Rock which is a huge hazelnut sphere filled with a praline and chocolate mousse.
