For all the people who want to experience Emirati cuisine at its finest, Seven Sands is the place to be. This hidden gem located right at the end of the Beach, is surely an easy miss since even its entrance is on the corner. I came to know about this place when I was invited for its opening which unfortunately I couldn’t attend. From that day I have been eying this place and waiting to give this place a try.
I am so glad I came here, better late then never. As I enter this restaurant I cannot stop myself from admiring its marvelous interiors which defines Emirati culture and their love for everything royal so well. We decided to dine on the upper level from where we got the breathtaking view of the Dubai Beach. I could sit there for hours while sipping on my tea with that outstanding view in front of me. Something not to be missed.
We were given a complimentary tray of Cheesy Bread which were so delicious with that dip. I wish there were more then 4 pieces on that plate. For our starters we ordered Hummus and Moutabal which was accompanied by some hot breads. I loved the Hummus it was so different then the usual ones I have had earlier. Even the Moutabal had soft beans and that delectable flavour which you can instantly fall in love with. I was trying to resist myself from having too much of it but it being so good I couldn’t stop myself from going for it.
For the mains we were recommended by the servers the Fish Fouga and Chicken Kebab. Both of the dishes had a lovely presentation and tasted absolutely flavoursome. The Saffron Rice with the Tender some chicken made a perfect combo and the little curry provided with the Fish Fouga was a bit salty for my liking but nevertheless. I personally preferred the Biryani Rice which was served with the Fish it was simply more better then the Saffron Rice.
Lastly for the Dessert we went for the more traditional dessert which was Umm Ali. It did take a while to come but the wait for worth every second. Rich, creamy and just the right amount of sweetness to make this dessert all the more yummier.
If you are looking for a perfect place to be impressed by its food, ambiance and beautiful view this is the restaurant to go for. I did feel the service was a little laid back and the servers were not attentive to our needs but overall this place is surely one place not to be missed.
