Afternoon teas in Dubai are becoming as important as Friday Brunches, restaurants and hotels are constantly coming up with ways to make this afternoon ritual creative and appealing. From the ambience to the food, everything is considered before we finalise a venue which suits our mood perfectly. This week our editor Sana, was at the glittery Address Boulevard, this new hotel is already becoming quite a favourite of many, and we were the first ones to sample the High Tea experience at their Burj Khalifa facing lounge.
Be prepared to be mesmerised by their charming welcome drinks, and mini fruit tarts which are just a little trailer of the many more delightful dishes you will get to savour here. As you get ready to settle in their lovely couches, prepared to be taken back by a beautiful chest of drawers which is filled with four layers of decadent goodness.
I bet you do love Caviar but have you ever tried the Chocolate version of it? Yes, the first layer is all about the sinful sweet pleasures. From edible Plastic wrapped sweets to Foie Gras Macaroons, this high tea will leave no stones unturned to surprise you.
The second and third layer compromise of some exotic sandwiches like Salmon and Beef Bresaola’s and for Burrata lovers you would love the mini version of this cream cheese. Lastly, how can any high tea end without having some freshly baked scones and luscious jams, it’s a norm for me.
They also serve a few soothing herbal teas and coffees for the beverage devotees. Apart from the outstanding creativity and scrumptious selection, you will surely wouldn’t mind the 140dhs price tag for this entire experience.
