Jumeirah group does have a lot of hotels in UAE, and the popularity of their brand is not only because of the exuberant interiors or the awards which define them but solely because they make you fall in love with their standard of service. From the accommodation to their restaurants, everything is continually evolving here to suit the elite travellers who would expect nothing but the best.
This week I was at Jumeirah Al Qasr, another property of the Jumeirah group. After a brief renovation of few of their rooms, you can still see the Arabian theme of the place still intact, a mix of modern and traditional decor merge to form the best of both worlds. Their lobby is nothing short of palatial, and it makes for one of the most picturesque backdrops.
I was staying at their one-bedroom Arabian suite, a quiet location perched in between the little green area of their own. The room was well divided into two parts, the living space and the bedroom. The highlight of this space was the balcony; I enjoyed a hearty breakfast here overlooking the chirping birds which made one of the most memorable mornings of mine.
Later that evening I booked myself for a massage at the highly acclaimed Talise Spa. You will find this spa in all of the Jumeirah properties and their bespoke massages are made to enhance your comfort and relaxation levels. I booked myself for a 60min signature massage and was allocated a room which had its own open shower area located in the balcony, the setting of this room immediately transports you to a beach island, I have to say that night I slept like a baby.
Now let me make you aware of the 60 plus restaurants which make this resort a foodie heaven, staying in Dubai for almost five years I still haven’t been able to try all their restaurants, it’s quite a challenge. To name a few of their popular restaurants you could try the steakhouse Hide, Shimmers for the ultimate beach view casual food, and lastly my most favourite Pai Thai, it is such an underrated Asian restaurant!.
For a family with kids, you are in for a blissful time as this resort has not one but a couple of swimming pools along with Wild Wadi access for the residents of this resort. Another intriguing part of this property is the use of Abra (water-boats) and buggies to transfer their guests from one part to another; I don’t think you can find this feature in any of the Dubai’s resort or hotel.
Walking on their massive private beach or having a massage right at one of the Talise spa booths or a romantic dinner right under the stars, Jumeirah group of hotels is like a Santa which can make most of your wishes true.
