Getting to Samothrace from the port of Alexandroupoli in Thrace is easy and convenient, with ferries departing daily. The ferry ride can take anywhere between 3 hours, giving you plenty of time to relax and enjoy the journey. Unfortunately, for now, there are no ferries connecting the island of Samothrace directly from Athens.
