A restaurant which is only a few months old but still has established it’s place especially after winning a Times Out Awards for the best new comer restaurant is something which catches my attention. And after hearing some rave reviews from my fellow bloggers my expectations were risen and my tasting session was not less then a glamorous glitzy affair.
A razzle dazzle atmosphere with an ideal crowd Play is a quintessential place for an ideal night out or an a outstanding dinner. Sage our pleasant server proposed to us some of the best starters and we were more then happy to go by his suggestions.
Starting with some:-
*Sauteed Wild Mushrooms – With an enticingly delicate sauce this mushroom diah won my heart. Even though it was tid bit salty I still had it all by myself.
*Rock Shrimp – For a quick and satisfying appetizer I would suggest this since it’s very hard to go wrong with such a beautiful dish.
*Seafood Gyoza – A good mixture but at the same time being too mushy didn’t make it the best dishes I had here.
*Elies – Oh all you Avacado lovers, for a crisp, zingy and zesty flavour go for this light and delightful dish. The chili mayo adds tantalising texture which makes you go for more.
*Truffle Fries – Crisp fries but in comparison to other Truffle Fries I have had before it didn’t had the strong Truffle texture which I was looking forward too.
Moving on towards our mains it was a tough choice since there are so many intresting dishes to opt for. But we finally decided on 76hour whole Wagyu and Grilled Baby Chicken. Both the dishes were an absolute joy to have, juice oozing in every bite and meat falling off the bone. Isn’t this the way we all want our meats to taste?
After this wondrous dinner we happily waited to be surprised by our server Sage who presented us with two most epic desserts. Snicker Bar and Chocolate Fondant. Hot fondant was gushing with a essence of orange which with a crunch of caramel was everything you need to make your day bright. Snickers bar on the other hand was a captivating dessert with a different flavor in each bite, small candy floss, chocolate truffle and bits of crunch is all you experience when you take the first few bites of this adorable sweet.
