When it comes to finding the best french food in Dubai there are numerous options. People surely do love to dine out and the amount of restaurants here is evidence that the food scene will keep getting bigger, one such cuisine which people absolutely adore is French food. There are tons of options when it comes to choosing a good restaurant and you can get quite intimated on were about to dine, but with my list I have jotted down the option to a mere ten, hope that helps to make your decision!
Bistro de arts – Want to get the Parisian food in Dubai? This is the place to go. Situated in Dubai Marina they serve home-style Parisian food and are pretty good at that. I honestly love their freshly baked bread and the selection of raw seafood is something I absolutely adore. This place has a laid back atmosphere compared to the many fine dining options in Dubai but nevertheless, when it comes to surprising its guests, they easily tick that off the bucket with their delicious food.
Lpm – Now if you haven’t heard about this restaurant you are honestly living under the rock. It is one of the ultimate places to go with friends or family especially if you want to leave an impressive mark. The vibe, the food, the impeccable service and the chic decor is all that makes LPM what it is today. The food you absolutely cannot complain about, it is divine, to say the least. Situated in Dubai’s prime area this restaurant often gets very busy and a reservation is needed most of the time to avoid disappointment.
Brasserie du park – Situated in the ever-charming Park Hyatt this creekside restaurant is perfect for anyone looking for a modern yet relaxed dining experience. The marble tables, the vibrant tile work and the sleek chairs have all got my attention, the restaurant is surely raising the bar when it comes to sophisticated decor. One of the reasons I love the food here is because it’s not too complicated, it’s simple food and the chefs lets the flavours do the magic. The Baked Camembert is my favourite here, along with the Baked sea-bass which is a must. This restaurant surely deserves more love and attention as it’s French food at its best.
Atelier M – The chef and founder Mohammed Islam has worked under some genius chefs like Jean Georges and the famed Ritz Carlton and after gaining great success behind the scenes it was his effort which led to the opening of Atelier M in Dubai Marina. The team here loves to incorporate seasonal ingredients and come up with something extraordinary which your palette would appreciate. The rooftop of this restaurant is quite a party place with a live DJ, beautiful views of the Marina and moreish food. This place won’t disappoint you!
Bagatelle – An old favourite restaurant of mine, back in the days when I stayed near DIFC I was quite a regular at Bagatelle but regardless where I am I try to visit this restaurant a couple of times in a year. The food is top-notch and won’t let you down. It has a lively atmosphere, and they even have live entertainment to keep you entertained. The energy here is pretty vibrant and if you love that kind of atmosphere this place is perfect for you. My favourite dish here is the Lobster Linguini, I crave it more than often.
Couqley French Bistro – JLT, is becoming quite a hub when it comes to scouting some great restaurants with superb ambience and food. Couqley is situated in Movenpick hotel in JLT for quite some time and people around the vicinity love this place. It’s the perfect place to head after work or even for lunch if you fancy something delicious. The food is not too complicated unlike a few other restaurants, it’s simple and delicious. The decor is somewhat vintage, and it makes quite a statement. This place is pretty popular among the Lebanese community as there are already two Couqley’s in Beirut which are doing really well for themselves. For a relaxed and laid back ambience, you should surely consider this place.
French Riviera – This brand new restaurant in Jumeirah Al Qasr is like a breath of fresh air. With stunning views and an outdoor area which is perfect for the cooler month, this is certainly a brilliant concept though by the Jumeirah group. The South of France is surely an amazing place to visit and the food there is exotic and full of flavours, Chef Kim Joinié Maurin and his team try to seduce us with some of their best dishes taking inspiration from the French Riviera cities and towns.
St Tropez – If you are in Mall of Emirates and want to grab something for lunch which isn’t from the food court then this is the place to check out. The restaurant is divided into three areas, a lounge, a beautiful Parisian bistro and a lovely cafe. You can expect some of the best French classics like Duck Confit and some supreme beef cuts. I didn’t have high expectations from this place but to my surprise, it was one of the most wonderful dinners I had in a while, no-frills attached just good food and you would surely want to come back again.
La Serre – Some restaurants no matter how many times you visit, you just can’t get over it and one such place for me is La Serre in Downtown Dubai. If you see some celeb dining here don’t be surprised as it’s one great place to dine and be seen. The food is phenomenal and they are recently planning to open one branch even in London due to its great popularity. I love the glass windows and the chic decor which transforms this place to one trendy restaurant. Their food no doubt is appealing but my favourite here is the Oxtail Ravioli, it is extremely delicious and heavenly, must try!
La cantine du faubourg – This place has been in Jumeirah Emirates Tower for a while and it has not only won people’s heart but also plenty of awards. This place has great music, amazing ambience and fabulous food. The place is unpretentious and has all my votes if you are looking for a night out with friends who just want to sit back relax and have an ultimate time with exquisite food. I love this place in the winter especially as the outdoor terrace makes a fabulous place to unwind with a drink or two. This place definitely ticks all the boxes to make your day amazing and rememberable.
