Tired after a long hard day at work and want to go out somewhere with your friends ? You should surely consider Iris in Oberoi then. I recently dined here as a guest and had a brilliant time with my buddies. Before heading here I thought this place might only be good of drinks but no it does absolutely brilliant dishes as well.
Located high up in the sky providing a scenic view of the Dubai skyline and the beautiful Burj I was mesmerized by the beauty of this place. On my arrival I was warmly greeted and guided to my table. I was surprised to see that even on a weekday this place was buzzing with people. 
After relaxing a bit we began our lovely evening by ordering a few drinks and starters. Raspberry Mojito and Virgin Mojito both were strong and were perfect start to refresh our moods.
For appetizers we began by ordering:-
*Rock Shrimp – These Shrimps came with a portion of salad and drizzled with a zesty sauce which makes you go for more, delicious.
*Fried Calamari – I think most of my time I was munching on these crunchy calamaris, I loved it especially the sour dip which added a tantalizing taste to it.
*Fried Chicken with Apple – Juicy, tender some and flavorsome. Any day I would love to have these superb bites.
Mains are another thing to look forward to when you are here. This place is just not known for good drinks but also some amazing delicacies.
*Corn Fed Baby Chicken – Super soft meat and that pepper sauce added a flavorful touch to it which brings out the right textures.
*Salmon – Another fabulous dish which is simple but yet so beautiful to chew on. The crisp covering and the soft meat were the highlight of this dish.
If you think that’s it wait for the trophy of the night which are the desserts. They offer 4 kinds of desserts and I tried the best ones they have to offer which is the Profiteroles and Creme Brûlée. I was madly in love with the Creme Brulee it is a perfect dessert to end your night here, the soft flavored bread with the vanilla Ice cream goes so well together. The Profitoroles look really pretty but were a bit hard to break down since the Ice cream made the crust a bit chewy but otherwise even this could be a special dessert.
For all my friends and followers who ask me one place which I could go over and again I can easily say Iris it would be. You have to try it out yourself. Huge portions, fantastic service and lastly for the amazing time you have here.
